Songwriter’s Tip Jar

Take Your Songs to the Next Level

Here’s what our members have to say --

Loved the newsletter this week. Especially the ten tips...it's amazing to me how good advice is timeless. You can read it once and need it again years later.

Your songwriters ezine is very helpful. Some of the articles are outright INSPIRING....like the fellow who was nominated for the Childrens music Grammy and the story on Julie Gold. GOOD WORK!

Thanks for creating a community where we songwriters can share, gripe, listen, and learn -- and maybe even come up with better songs. I really appreciate your efforts.

I love the newsletter, keep up the good work! Although I haven't been as active as I'd like, as a regular reader I've found STJ to be an excellent educational and motivational tool. I often find myself in a writing rut; STJ's tips motivate and inspire me to get past those problems. STJ contains simple, but effective tips and techniques, and has helped me stay on my toes lyrically. Thanks again!

I bit when I first saw the offer for the free CD (14 Qualities of Successful Musicians...... by David Hooper.
http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=98317)
I got it in the mail and put it on right away. My husband/musical partner and I listened to it and a lot of it made a whole lot of sense! And I was especially pleased with the parts on the CD that my husband didn't believe before but that I did, and now he does too, just because he heard a professional say it. Hey, whatever works!

We've started putting those tips into action and are seeing progress in our musical career once again! Thanks for offering this great CD for free!!

I'll certainly think about ways of improving the STJ. It's great as is though, and I've gained so much from it. I've made friends, and feel part of a real music community. Thank you for creating the site.

Thanks for the great newsletter. I've been writing tunes for years and never really considered trying to sell them or have them published until I started reading your information. Although I'm still pretty confused about the whole process, at least I can see some possibilities! I appreciate it.
